Common Questions

 

I’m in the USA - will there be tariffs on my purchase?

No - all shipments to the USA are shipped CUSMA-compliant so there will be no tariffs on your purchase. For customers in Canada, your order will have tax included when you purchase, determined by your province. For all customers in other countries, there may or may not be duties or taxes imposed by your own country that I have no knowledge or control over. If there are any fees they are your own responsibility.

Who works at T-Rex Glass?

Just me! My name is Trevor, you can read a short bio About Me. I currently handle every aspect of this operation, from glassblowing, shipping/receiving, photography, social media, customer relations, and just about every title you can imagine a small business might have.

How do I order a custom?

You’re in the right place! Check out the Build Your Own or Classic Designs section and try adding something to the cart to bring up a customization form. There are also lots of separate Add-On items you can add to the cart to further modify your piece, such as a Lipwrap or Crushed Opal. The possibilities are endless. If you’re unsure or could use some input from me, shoot me a message on IG or use the contact form on this website!

How long will my order take?

Most orders are made within 1-3 weeks of ordering. I ship once a week, so sometimes that can add a few extra days before your piece gets sent out. Once it it photographed, packed and shipped, you will receive an email with the tracking number. Shipping times vary, from 1-7 business days within Canada, 5-8 business days to the USA, and 1-3 weeks for international orders.

Where is my order?

After placing an order, it immediately gets put in line to be custom made. Typically it takes 2-4 weeks until it is made, and once shipped you’ll receive a tracking number via email. You are welcome to contact me anytime to inquire about the status of your piece, but please include an order number so I can look it up! Once in the postal system, the only information I have access to is through the tracking number, same as you.

My piece arrived and something is not right!

This is a rare occurrence, I pride myself on extremely tight QA and QC - but every so often something does slip by. Please contact me immediately, and DO NOT use your piece until we sort out whatever the issue may be.

Do you do repairs?

At this time I’m not able to accept pieces for repairs.

Do you do wholesale?

I do work with a handful of established shops - if you have a shop and are interested in more info, feel free to get in touch! Shoot me an email with your store name and some info about your shop and we can see if we can make something work.

Do you have a completed Color Chart?

The only color chart photos I have are up on the website. It is a work in progress, and I will continue to update it as possible

Is there any way to see a preview of my custom order?

Unfortunately I don’t have any way to show you what your piece will look like. The website is great for ordering your very own custom, but in the end each piece is a unique, hand-crafted item and we won’t know exactly what it looks like until it is done.
